Rob L. is a dietician, and while he loves to cook and run and be healthy, if he were to be honest, of all of the healthiness in the world, he loves kale most of all #releasethenutrients So when I saw this kale fabric, I could not resist the temptation for a final tease... I made the pattern up myself, using an existing apron, but made a few modifications to suit my preferences including sturdy double stitched ties, an adjustable neck tie for flexibility and fit, and some rounded corner details for a bit of elegance.
For Airesse M. I went for the jugular... the cat-loving jugular that is. The panel is actually a pillow template that I picked up at a church sale, knowing it looked like her cat Turk, and knowing I would eventually find a use for it... And I did! This apron is a different style, which again I kind of made up. Features include: a gathered 'skirt' for a bit more of a girly vibe, deep pockets on the skirt (which I included after taking these pics-- whoops!), adjustable neck ties, a fully lined front panel and waist ties for extra durability, and I made those waist ties extra wide for style and comfort.
Hope they are well used and well loved, and save many an outfit from the scourge of cooking stains.
